Voici mon coup de coeur n°1 à Boa Vista: "Casa Velha", la "vieille maison".
Rassurez-vous, elle n'a rien de vieux! C'est un univers charmant qui s'inspire de l'architecture coloniale portugaise. Située tout près du centre de Sal Rei (la toute petite capitale!) elle donne sur la belle plage d'Estoril. Autour d'un grand patio central, "quintal", des terrasses se font face. L'élément bois et prédominant, le blanc et le bleu donnent le ton. Ici, beauté est synonyme de simplicité. La lumière naturelle est l'invitée privilégiée de cette adresse de charme. Le soir, quand elle fait défaut, les bougies lui donnent un coup de pouce. On ne loue pas une chambre mais des appartements d'une à deux chambres avec service hôtelier.
Le top: le penthouse pour deux personnes avec grande terrasse privative et vue sur la mer. Compter 180€ en haute saison.
Pour les familles: 2 appartements pour 3 à 4 personnes allant de 125€ à 165€

My first "coup de coeur" in Boa Vista is: "Casa velha" the "ancient house".
Don't worry, it is not old at all! A charming white and blue world awaits. The architecture finds it's inspiration in traditional portuguese houses. Located near the center of Sal Rei (the small capital) and a few barefoot steps away from the never ending beach of Estoril, "Casa Velha" is the perfect place! Around the big indoor patio, "quintal', wooden terraces are the front doors to the rooms. In fact, here, you don't really rent a room but an apartment for 1 to 4 people with hotel service. All is simple but cozy.The sunlight is invited to find it's way in every corner of the house. In the evening, candles brighten up the atmosphere.
Best of the best: The penthouse for 2 people with it's own private terrace overlooking the big blue sea. Around 180€ high season.
For families: 2 apartments for 3 or 4 people from 125€ to 165€
